Visiting Hampton Court

Tuesday saw our delegation along with 20 Ursuline High School students sailing down the Thames River to Hampton Court Palace; taking the same route as royalty took in the sixteenth century. Students toured several of the rooms of the grand home of Henry the VIII which was a gift to Ann Boleyn. They also enjoyed the gardens, the Royal Tennis Court and the Cumberland Art Gallery. Toward the end of the visit, the combined group made its way through "the Maze" with varying degrees of success. Finally, 32 girls and their chaperones spread blankets on the lush Hampton Court grass and enjoyed a lively picnic lunch packed by their host sisters.

 What a fabulous experience!!!
