What a magical day for the delegation! Arriving at Harry Potter
World around ten o’clock, the girls and their chaperones were transported into a
magical world of wizards and wands.
The
exhibit, in warehouses that once functioned as war plane factories, was the
location of much of the actual film shooting. Girls saw many original movie
sets in addition to a collection of props, costumes and explanations of special
effects used in the Happy Potter films. A real highlight came when delegates mounted their magical
broomsticks and flew through authentic movie footage; all with the aid of
modern technology. In a similar manner, they cast magical spells with their
wands and were photographed soaring in the Weasley’s flying car making their
way to Hogwarts! What a fabulous day!
