Exploring Wimbledon

Monday, the first of the school year for Wimbledon students, was also a fabulous day for our delegation. On their first official day in Wimbledon, our students visited the Wimbledon Tennis Museum. They enjoyed an excellently guided two-hour tour which took them on a wonderful journey of tournament history.

"We saw were the royal box was as well as many behind-the-scene places that are used by broadcasters and reporters during the championship," said Grace W.

After the museum visit, much to their excitement, the delegates boarded a traditional red double-decker bus and headed into Wimbledon Village where they enjoyed pizza at a local pizzeria.  They ended their day back with their British Ursuline sisters and headed home to their host families.
