Welcome to Dallas, Colegio Santa Ursula!!

Today our brothers and sisters arrived from Brazil! They arrived super early so they were with us in time to say hello on our morning announcements. It was very special because today we had "Live" announcements where everyone could actually see our guests online. We did our best to keep the delegation awake after their long night of travel. They had breakfast, enjoyed a tour of the school and visited one class with their host sisters before heading home for a relaxing weekend. We are so happy that you are here in Dallas with us!! Welcome to Texas!!

Hard to say goodbye - Thank you!!

It's been a wonderful 10 days with our sisters from Stella Matutina. We hate so much to see them go! Thank you to our wonderful host families, host students, chaperones and all who helped make this second visit to Dallas such a success. We hope that there are many more delegations between our schools in the future! Stella sisters, we miss you already!! See you next year in Taiwan!

The Stella Matutina Chaperones

Oh what a wonderful time we had with the Stella Chaperones, Ms. Grace Wang and Sr. Jacinta. We learned so much from each other and we laughed every day! We are very grateful to have had this time together with you two lovely ladies - we look forward to seeing you in Taiwan! Below are some of our favorite memories of the chaperones.

Classes with the Stella Delegation

During the Stella visit, we have had the opportunity to learn together in several classes. The delegation has attended a journalism class, a Chinese class, an Arabic class and a Biology class this week. Our guests were interviewed for the school newspaper, learned to write their names in Arabic, and took water samples of our near-by creek. They also helped our UA Dallas students in their Mandarin lesson.
Additionally, Counselor Grace Wang, one of the chaperones from Stella, presented a lesson about wellness and positive thinking. It was greatly enjoyed by the UA Dallas students who were lucky enough to attend. How wonderful it has been to be together and to learn together !!
