G'day from Sydney, Australia!

G'day and Greetings from Australia! For the next ten days, Ms. Bauer and I (Ms. Nipp) will be visiting some of the great cities of Australia. We have come here with several goals, the primary of which is to discuss and hopefully establish a new sister-school partnership with St. Ursula's College in Toowoomba, Australia. We also want to explore and learn about places in Australia where we might bring our students in the future.

Hello from Sydney! Here we are in front of the famous Sydney Opera House
So, we have begun our Australian adventure in the magnificent city of Sydney, the capital of the state New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia.  Sydney is a thriving, multicultural and beautiful city. There is so much to see and do - we hardly knew where to begin! But, thinking about what might be enjoyable and beneficial for UA students in the future, we first visited the Sydney Tower which is just a few blocks from our hotel in downtown Sydney. The Tower not only allowed us to see spectacular views of Sydney but also to see how the city is organized and its many neighborhoods and areas. It was a great way to orient ourselves and to begin our time "Down under!"
.
The Sydney Tower is the tallest building in Sydney

People of all ages visit the tower to enjoy the spectacular views
