Wimbledon delegation's tour of London

Today the day started with a walking tour of London (thank you Nick for the tour), and we also experienced an Ursuline Delegation first: The London Eye! The Eye is a stunning giant Ferris wheel on the banks of the Thames River which allows riders the best panoramic views of the city.

Each student shared with us her favorite part of the terrific day:

Rebekah: “I enjoyed walking through St. James Park looking at the birds as well as the different flowers.”

Grace: “I loved the National Gallery. Each art piece was unique. It was interesting to learn that the London Mayor chooses new sculptures each year from local submissions.”

Olivia: “I loved touring London with the Ursuline High School girls. They made this day so fun.”

Sarah: “I shared great moments with some of my favorite people while being surrounded by beautiful buildings and views.”

Ellie: “Loved the London Eye. We got the layout of London and saw special sights on our tour today.”

Abbi: “My favorite part was seeing the beautiful buildings and views of London.”

Ainsley: “The London Eye was my favorite part. We could see so much and took a great photos with a great view.”

Caitlin: “My favorite part was spending time with my bestie Amelie and showing her around London.”

Rylee: “My favorite part was seeing the beautiful styled buildings and learning about them.”

Brynson: “Loved seeing Buckingham Palace and the changing of the guards.”

Taylor: “My favorite part was the pond we walked along. I was so close to the ducks and birds. It was so cool.”

Abbey: “I loved the changing of the horse guards because I got to pet the horses.”

Lauren: “The London Eye was great. I loved seeing all of London with my friends.”
