Hampton Court

Today was another great day for our Wimbledon delegation! We had an amazing stroll around Hampton Court Palace, one of many residences of Henry VIII.

Our students learned so much - including these fun facts about Hampton Court:
1. Hampton Court has a 3,600 square foot kitchen and 60 acres of gardens.
2. The gardens have the UK’s oldest surviving hedge maze. Our girls LOVED going through the maze.
3. The last person to live at Hampton Court was King George II. \
4. Henry VIII married Katherine Parr, one of his six wives, at Hampton Court Palace in 1543.

After touring the palace, all ate pizza and took a train back to the school. Tomorrow our students will enjoy a walking tour of London. We can’t wait!
