Friday at UA

What a busy and exciting day we had today with our British guests! Early in the day, the Wimbledon delegation gave a presentation to 100 or so UA Dallas students. They showed a film about their school and about life in London / Wimbledon. Then, after answering a few questions from the audience, the students were able to gather in small groups and just chat and get to know one another a little more casually and freely. It was a lot of fun! (note: UA Dallas students were allowed to "dress like a faculty member" today so that is the reason for the unusual dress in the photos).

Later in the day, the students had a little break where they decorated pumpkins for Halloween - so creative and so much fun!!

At the end of the day, the students were all invited to an Arabic language class. It was a new experience for most but the students proved themselves to be quick and enthusiastic learners - each girl learned to write her name in Arabic! All in all, an active and amazing day at UA!
