Peace Day Prayer Service

Today at Ursuline, we celebrated the International Day of Peace with a Prayer Service. Peace Day occurs every year on the 21st of September. The day was established in 2001 when the member states of the United Nations unanimously adopted the first ever annual day of global ceasefire and non-violence on 21 September – Peace Day. This day was especially significant and special this year since we were able to celebrate it with our Ursuline brothers and sisters from Brazil. We will continue to honor the International Peace Day this weekend when we attend the first annual Peace Day Dallas Awareness Adventure.
