Mass and morning of formation in Brazil
On Thursday, our Brazil delegation began Mass with some of the high school students at Colegio Santa Ursula. The Mass was celebrated by Father Anderson Lopes, a parish priest who is also the youth Chaplain at Colegio Santa Ursula. The theme of the homily was "Faith and Happiness." After the Mass, the students all gathered with Father Anderson for a morning of reflection. They participated in activities related to environmental stewardship. The point of the activities was to demonstrate how we are responsible for protecting the environment and that we can repair damage that has been done if we all work together. It was not only a fun activity but was also very thought-provoking and inspirational. Our delegation learned a lot from the activity and all enjoyed the interactive morning with their new friends.
