On Saturday, just as our Brazilians friends departed, our Chinese sisters arrived. Our host families waited patiently and eagerly while they cleared customs. Once they came out, it was a joyful and exciting encounter and all were ready to enjoy the weekend! The students went home with their new Texas families while the teachers went out for a casual dinner and home to "Hotel Ursuline."
Today, the delegation was officially welcomed to UA and to Dallas. They toured the school, received gifts and met many old and new friends including Dr. Shurley and Ms. Kane. In the afternoon, they went on a short tour of downtown Dallas. We can't wait for the days ahead when we will celebrate the 20 year anniversary of our cultural and educational exchange together at UA!
