Wilmington: Day of Presentation and Service

This morning our delegates were the guest "hosts" of Wilmington's community time and presented to the students and staff of the Upper School. Our three students shared information about Ursuline of Dallas, the city of Dallas, the state of Texas, and their families. Following a brief Q&A session (the topic with the biggest response was the fact that our students have assigned parking spots!), and the giving of gifts to Ursuline Wilmington, to the Upper School Administration, and to Mrs. Neill, the entire assembly participated in a Lenten prayer service.

Following a couple of classes and lunch, our group headed over to St. Patrick's for an afternoon of service. We helped prepare for the produce and baked goods pick-up by members of the community. This involved prepping grocery bags, sorting produce, and then assisting anyone receiving items with the selecting and bagging or their choices. The time flew by and before we knew it we were on our way back to the Academy to meet up with our rides home for the afternoon.
