South Africans enjoy Dallas Day

Today our South African guests enjoyed a leisurely day in downtown Dallas, reflecting on Dallas history and touring some important sites in the city. First, the group visited the 6th Floor museum which is dedicated to the life and legacy of President Kennedy and which is located at the exact spot of President Kennedy's assassination in 1963.  After the museum visit, the students had lunch at Sony Bryan's barbeque, one of Dallas' famous barbeque restaurants. Lastly, the students toured Dallas on a historical trolley. On the tour, they were able to see many landmarks including the grassy knoll at Dealy plaza, the Dallas Farmer's Market and the Dallas Arts district. It was a fantastic day!
