Luna's Tortilla Factory

This morning, our Brazil delegation and their hosts got a special treat. They visited Luna's Tortilla Factory here in Dallas, a family-owned business that is over 94 years old! Mr. Fernando Luna, the owner and the 3rd generation of tortilla makers, explained the process of making the best tortillas in Texas. Tortillas, as many of you know, date back to the Aztec empire and are a major part of Mexican cuisine. A good tortilla is critical to a good Mexican or Tex-Mex meal. We love tortillas in Texas and we love Luna's for welcoming our guests and our UA students so warmly!!
