Easter in Uganda!

On Easter Sunday, our delegation attended Mass at the YES center with Father Joe. It was truly a festive occasion with everyone dressed beautifully and in great spirits. The Mass was joyful, full of beautiful song and dance. After Mass, we enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch and dance party along with our friends from the YES center and St. Peters. Several Catholic Sisters and some of our dear friends from Empower African Children also came to join us. It was a wonderful celebration!!

On Easter were also joined by our dear friends, Sr. Anne and Sr. Grechen, from St. Catherine's school in Kenya. We gave them several bags of donations from the UA Dallas community which they will take back to their students. The items included backpacks, sheets, school shoes, underwear and more. They were most appreciative and send their profound thanks to all who donated to the St. Catherine's students.
