On Saturday, our two Easter delegations left Dallas for Paris and Uganda! Our Paris delegation arrived early Sunday morning in France where they were met by their host sisters from our Paris sister-school, St. Ursule.
The journey to Uganda is a long one from Dallas so our Uganda delegation stayed overnight in Dubai before heading to Kampala on Monday morning. The delegation was tired but still enthusiastic about taking an evening city tour of Dubai. It was a clear and beautiful evening where we visited the major landmarks of Dubai including the Atlantis Hotel, the Burj Al-arab hotel, the Buj Kalifa (the world's tallest building!) and Dubai's Blue Mosque (modeled after the Blue Mosque in Istanbul). Our magical day in Dubai was a fantastic way to begin our time in Africa!
