Touring Toowoomba

The last part of Tuesday's busy schedule was a sightseeing bus tour of Toowoomba. This tour had actually been scheduled for Friday but, of course, plans changed when our group missed the flight connection. "No worries" as they say in Australia - The tour was rescheduled for today and was greatly enjoyed by all.   It was especially interesting for our group to learn about the history of the city and to see the beautiful parks and architecture.  Two favorite stops on the tour included the lovely Japanese Garden sponsored by the University of Southern Queensland and Picnic Point, a spot to enjoy breathtaking views over Queensland.
